Sidecars are cool, practical and make your driving far more interesting as adding a third wheel make you have to think before, trough and after curves in a different matter than when on two wheels. Have always had a sidecar bike for 28 years now, great for kids, dogs, friends (you will be able to carry their stuff), you can drive as slow as you like without having to think about feets at ground etc. etc. You will enjoy it :-)
